Starter is free forever — one game night a week is exactly one fundraiser.

Trivia night fundraisers,
without the clipboard.

Your volunteers should be selling raffle tickets, not collecting paper answer sheets and adding up scores in a back room. Guests answer on their own phones, every answer is scored the moment it lands, and the leaderboard is on the screen before the round is over.

No card required — set up in about five minutes

How the night runs

One person on a laptop, one screen, and everyone else on the phone already in their pocket.

1

Set it up

Pick your categories and how many rounds you want. The questions are already written — you are choosing a shape for the evening, not writing a quiz.

2

Guests scan one code

A QR code goes up on the screen. Guests join from their own phones — no app to download, no account to create, no per-player fee.

3

Scores settle themselves

Nobody marks anything. Teams watch their standing move on the big screen between rounds, and the final leaderboard is ready the second the last question closes.

Built for a room full of strangers

Teams, the way a fundraiser actually runs. Run 2 to 12 teams. Guests pick a table when they join, or the host balances them automatically. Team scores ride alongside individual ones, so a table can compete without anyone losing their own total.
Up to 100 players in one room. Stress-tested at the cap. If you are expecting a bigger crowd than that, get in touch and we will help you split it into multiple rooms.
Nobody needs an account. Guests play with just a nickname. The people at your event are there to give you money, not to complete a signup form.
No printing, no tallying. No answer sheets, no pens, no volunteer in the back with a calculator and a stack of paper while the room waits.
Put your sponsors on the screen. On Pro you can run your own images between rounds — which is how a sponsored round stops being a line in the program and starts being something people actually see.
Bring your own questions. Write a round about your school, your team, or the guest of honor: read them aloud in an Emcee round and judge the answers by hand, or import a question set as JSON. Both are on Pro.

Real questions, not a sample pack

Three straight from the built-in library — the same ones your guests would see.

What it costs

For a lot of fundraisers the answer is nothing.

Starter — free forever. One Game Night per week, the full built-in question library, up to 100 players, and your own permanent room code. A single fundraiser fits inside the free plan. Screens carry a small “Powered by Trivia Fun” line.
Pro — $149/mo, cancel any time. Worth it if you are selling sponsorships: your own branding instead of ours, your sponsors’ images between rounds, unlimited nights, and imported question sets. Run your event, then cancel — there is no contract.
Event Pass — $299 once, nothing to cancel. Everything Pro gives you, for a seven-day window you start whenever your event is. Buy it in October for a spring gala and the clock does not move until you say so. It costs more than a month of Pro on purpose: what you are buying is not having a subscription to remember to cancel. Running several? Three passes are $749.
Players never pay. No per-player fees and no upsells pointed at your guests. Whatever they came to give goes to you.

Questions

Do our guests need to download anything?

No. It runs in the browser — for the host, the guests, and the screen. They scan the QR code and they are in the game in seconds.

Can we run it as teams?

Yes. Two to twelve teams, and guests pick their table as they join. If you would rather not manage that, the host can balance the teams automatically.

What if more than 100 people come?

One room holds 100 players, tested at the cap. Past that we can split you into multiple rooms — email hello@trivia-fun.com before your event and we will sort it out with you.

Do we need someone technical to run it?

No. One person drives it from a laptop, and the screen is just a second browser tab. If that laptop crashes or the wifi blips mid-game, reopening the page picks up exactly where you left off — scores intact.

Can we write our own round?

Yes, two ways, both on Pro. An Emcee round lets the host read questions aloud and judge answers by hand, which is how you do a round about your own school or club. Or import a written set as JSON and let the app run it.

We run one fundraiser a year. Do we have to subscribe?

No. Three ways to do a single event. The free plan covers it if you are happy with our name on the screen — one Game Night a week is one fundraiser. An Event Pass is $299 once: your branding, your imported round, no “Powered by” line, for a seven-day window you start when your event is, with no subscription attached. Or take Pro at $149 for the month and cancel after — cheaper, if you will remember to cancel.

Can we charge admission or sell tickets through this?

No — we do not handle your ticketing or donations, and we do not take a cut of them. Sell tickets however you already do; this is the game itself.
